Sweetiekins, if someone wants to bother, they can use the center to center measurement between your pupils. Dont think they'll do anything so time consuming? You've never been doxxed. Be very, very careful what you wish for. "Personality and Life" is in the eye of the beholder. But it ain't worth a cell, or a euthanized critter.

People who do this have low IQ honestly. Like seriously, even if it wasnt a zoo forum, you should stay anonymous on the internet. Social media has rotted peoples brains frankly. Corporations and gov love it when you willingly volunteer as much monetizable, identifyable information as possible.

Just wait until this whole AI thing takes off, and someone can run a program that can instantly identify user profiles based upon cropped self images, and posts and comments. Remember that furry pfp you used on zoophileforum and also furaffinity but like 6 years ago? The comment on a furaffinity post saying you attended denver furcon?

Assume any and all information can be parsed and tracked.
 
Saw yesterday a guy joined, his face all exposed, probably got banned or received a warning. Why can't they know how dangerous it is to expose themselves.

A lot of times these users are new to the zoo community and are just starting out. They are unaware of the danger that they are potentially putting themselves in, because they don't know how hunted and despised we are to the general public.

Fr. I won't even upload a pic at all because I have no idea what gets attached to it, which is the same reason I don't upload content. I'm just not good at the opsec thing. Don't want my dick on the Internet either. The only two other people who've seen it know I'm zooey, but it still bothers me...

This. This shit right here is what scares me. Especially with autistic anti zoo tech furries being a thing. Fucking crazy how much of our personal info we broadcast to the world on the daily.
 
Makes sense, I mean I work networking and backtracking is possible with simple pictures. Makes sense why they also use different email platforms when joining from the normal which get skimmed and searched more.

I have an app from a tech. Friend that can reverse any filter and bring the original and also show the IP address of the original send... Y'all definitely need to keep yourselves safe online, I've been an Angel of the tech given and never used it for the bad, only used it to find the bad as far as the Kid stuff goes if I ever find a video or pic and turn it in. Once you get outed as something whether it's true or not becomes irrelevant.

I consider this a good example; let's say a white married male likes to watch BBC porn AND he gets outed. Immediately people may think he's gay, nothing wrong with being gay but he's frowned upon because he likes BBC porn.

Personal story. Your friend's wife finds out you like to watch porn a lot. Is that a big deal? Not really, but it becomes something because they disapproves, then start telling people that some kind of pervert. The snowball effect in today's society is insane.

I read a story in Penthouse magazine in the 80's that said and I paraphrase, by the year 2000 a heroin user will be more socially accepted than a smoker. Think about that, but you can't smoke in front of a public building since pretty much 2000 and it took a little longer than 15 years but now you have government funded safe injection site that give out free needles.

Speaking of free needles, diabetics can't even get free needles for their insulin or free lancets to draw blood for their blood sugar meters.

It is definitely best not to use selfies as pic. I just don't recommend using any photos of any part of one's own body, incase they are any distinguishing features.
 
Wow didn't realize this actually needed to be said, especially with the legal aspects in the US these days or in other countries in general, it's one thing if it's just your body parts but better make sure there isn't anything to specific like a tattoo or scars that could link your body to you easily

Ive learned my lesson. Never use your real name online. even in your e-mail address. Never posts your picture.
Never give out your phone number or address to anyone. Alway's use a VPN. be careful that your camera or phone doesn't GPS stamp your location on your photos. and watch out for any identifying signs or give aways in your photos.
Basically Trust Nobody! and if you really have to meet anyone in real life, meet in a public space at first. park far enough away, that they can not get your license plate number. don't divulge your real name or any identifying information to them. until you actually become real friends and feel comfortable with one another. Use Common Sense.
I totally understand why the mods are strict about not using real photos as avatars. In a community like this, keeping your real identity separate is just common sense for privacy reasons. On a somewhat related note, if anyone is looking for discreet adult toys (vibrators, plugs, etc.), I’ve had good experiences ordering from sextoys . They ship in completely plain packaging with no indication of what’s inside, which is a big plus when privacy matters. The selection is decent and the whole process feels safe and low-key.
