Myles Keough, Company "I" ( aka the Wild Eye), 7th US Cavalry in full dress turnout, 1872. Captain Keough was a veteran of The Papal Armies in Italy before 1862, and was made a Knight of the Order of St Gregory the Great. The Pickelhaube was Ultra Dress wear from 1872 onward.
