Yes they are. And it takes years to germinate. At some stage the seed is hollow and can float.
Edit :
They washed up on the shore at some islands in the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean.
For a long time the myth was that they came from a tree living in the sea.
I couldn’t find a photo of it, but some nuts had a tuft of ‘hair’, so it even more looked like a woman

My closer for today.. The Bird That Can Mimic Anything: Meet the Superb Lyrebird.. They are known for their shyness and are often difficult to spot in the wild. However, their distinctive calls and mimicry abilities make them easy to identify.
