WE HAVE A WINNA! Well done, young lady.I think it's a Rock Hyrax.
Everything does taste better coated in chocolate.
That is so kind of you to say. The first thing I thought was simply this. "I'm happy she's posting anything bearing in mind the tragedy she mentioned and the message in it." And then, "If I decide to a fussy bitch over it (I wasn't), I'd better get bigger things to worry about."I want to make an apology. I am sorry about posting in the middle of @OwnThatKinkGirl 's posts last night and to @saddlebum66 for doing the same this morning. It's all very well me moaning that I am being interrupted, but it is not acceptable for me to do exactly that. I am very sorry.
I am very lucky, I am here again, caught up with the thread and feel a little better, mentally. A lot of you don't know how much another's pain upsets me. I am lucky enough to have really strong, loving people around me, keeping me focused on living well and happy. In recent years things have improved for me. I am no longer alone, but my friend is having the same things taken away and that is upsetting. I don't expect sympathy or anything, but please spare a thought for those who suffer.
Thank you, all. xxxxx

That photo right there. That level of drama and impact while still maintaining realism is what I wish to achieve. Just stunning.
Amazing photo and with the story behind..And without going into a big story, this photo was taken in the middle of a critical moment in my life even though I didn't know it yet. The colors in the sky were so rich with oranges, purples and greens as I drove into a thunderstorm that I had to stop on the highway and take the shot. Even so, the camera couldn't pick up the vibrant colors that I saw. There was a hint to me that a major point of my life was crossed and the next had begun. Almost as if it was a gift from the universe. Maybe one day, I'll rework it in a full size image. Hope this can pick up any spirits who might need it.

Indeed. It still cracks me up seeing 3 - 6 foot tall termite mounds on the side of the highway like it's no big thing. That and instead of seeing raccoons on the side of the roads, there are chacma baboons.Termite mound?
