Buteo Jamaicensis, The Red Tailed Hawk....probably the most commonly seen Hawk in Northern Nevada....these are BIG Hawks....and awesome to see hit a squirrel.....Those big Talons act as constrictors....so the prey suffocates.
A Pharoh Hawk-Owl....orange eyes are a field mark.

I have seven minutes of Video of that bear, but but may be too big to DM or post here. The following evening, I went back for more vid, but the Rangers closed the boardwalk that follows the Creek.
