They are fascinating....When they lay eggs, they're about the size of yellow lentils, which hatch pretty quickly into larvae that are odd looking pale green horned critters.....But our Royal Hickory Moth in the States is even stranger....The larvae are known as "Hickory Horned Devils"....and they are truly devilish looking. Bright yellow and red with black asymmetrical Horns.....only a tad smaller than the Atlas
