A Lalique piece from about 1902. Lavender Enamel masquerades as Lilac, with Mine-Cut Diamonds and Gold. This little beauty comes apart. The central portion can be worn as a Dog Collar or a Pendant, and the end pieces as separate Brooches. Clever

A Steamship of the US Lines....My Granny went home to Scotland on one of their Ships in 1956, after a Visit. I remember seeing her off at Pier 86, probably on the SS United States. I was not quite three. Note that Pier numbers coincided with Street Numbers: Pier 86 was At 86th Street and the Hudson River.
