Billy Pickett invented the sport of Bulldogging. A small man, he learned to bite the bull or steer's nose or upper lip to subdue him. He was a postage stamp subject some years ago, though the USPS initially used a pic of his brother Ben on it. They're collectibles now. This is from one of the early Cowboy flicks
