I think they call them "electrostatic" speakers. I had a friend whose dad had some.

Interesting. I asked because, only a few years ago, Sony marketed a TV in which the screen IS the speaker.
I've never heard it, though.

Very cool! It reminded me of a TV show, one too stupid for me to admit I watched, these two girls live in urban NYC. They have a horse in a tiny back yard which sometimes wanders into the kitchen. They take it for walks while others are walking their dogs.

They have horse carriage rides in NYC and Philly. Sometimes referred to as a "handsome cab."

Most cities that still allow Horse-drawn carriages or the Hansom Cab require the cleanup of whatever the Horse(s) unload. Some drivers use a diaper sort of thing, as you pointed out....Some, who use the same route on every trip, will carry a bucket or bags and shovel to do the needful. The canvas Diaper looks like a feedbag was put on the wrong end ?
