This is a Hickory Horned Devil, larval form of the Regal Moth. That last young lady's shoes and legs just so reminded me of these. Raised a group of these at work some years ago, after capturing a gravid Regal Moth. Turned about fifty loose st the summer's end.
This is the Lord Baltimore, now operated by Radisson, and recently renovated. As Facing the 17th floor on the right side front corner was my favorite all time accomodation anywhere. A Bodine Photo from 1965. These Chesapeake Watermen are Hand-tonging for Oysters. A tong set looks like two steel rakes hinged like scissors. It is waaaay too much like work. But in those days it paid....the "Buyboat" would come and make an offer from all the little guys and theyd go home with cash. The Bridge behind them probably killed that way of life....they just didnt know it yet.
