A progress project in Baltimore. 1911 saw the City having the Highest concentration of typhoid cases in the US. A decision was made to enclose the lower miles of the Jones Falls, in underground sewers. This is the groundbreaking. The Jones is a massive spring, running fresh right into Baltimore's Harbor, but Ignorance and Pollution made it a health hazard....today this water holds Trout of three species, Beaver, Muskrat, and Wood Duck.
