When we looked at "convergence" in technologies, we noted that portable cameras like 8mm and then video cameras and VHS and the Land camera made self-made porn more popular. And then when computers became popular with the internet and mobile phones, porn exploded.

The Projectors for home movies were a thing in the day....This ad came out of "Famous Monsters" Magazine most likely...There actually was a clean market for them....but....like literally every other invention of mankind....it had a secondary, secret history...My dad had one....it came with a very early, and silent 'Woody Woodpecker' Cartoon, probably because the cartoon was out of copyright. Often wonder now, though....when my much older brother borrowed the projector, what he was projecting....lol
