Porcelain..... Sounds like a lot of breakage being asked for, but the artists were pointing up the fragility of Human Life. The casualty count was 88,8246 British Army Soldiers, of which one was my Great Uncle. The Somme, July, 1916.

The Flowers are now property of The Imperial War Museum.

"Pack up your troubles in your old Kit Bag, and smile, smile, smile!
While you've a Lucifer to light your fag, smile, boys, that's the Style....!
What's the use of Worrying?
It never was worthwhile.
Pack up your troubles in your old Kit Bag, and Smile, smile, smile....!"

Lest we Forget.
Never forget. Not ever.

Clytemnestra By John Collier Poster by Geekimpact.jpg'Clytemnestra', 1914.John Collier

This artist painted the subject twice....in 1882 and again in 1914. She was the wife of the Mycenean King Agamemnon; she killed him on his return from the Trojan wars, for having sacrificed their Children to Artemis.
She also murdered his War booty, Cassandra. Cassandra was the prophetess who was always dead on point, while no one believed anything she foresaw.
