Woman fishing the Elwha River....Thats a damn nice Steelhead

This River was dammed for power in the early 1900s, which stopped legendary runs of Steelies and Several species oc Salmon. The Elwha once produced a record rod-caught Chinook of about 105 lbs ....When it became obsolete, the then owners donated the land and the dam to Washington....absolving themselves of the need to maintain a then useless blockage in the River. The dam is gone now. Hopefully the Fish will eventually recreate the populations of yore.
