I’ve found that meeting up for neutral things like coffee in a public place is good. It was much easier in the past to meet folks as mirc was a place where you could chat quite a bit and get to know the other person quite a bit before deciding to meet. Now there doesn’t seem to be any sort of central location to actually chat that is easily accessible. I mean, there still is irc but I’ve found not too many people frequent it.

I was quite active in the zoo community years ago but not so much any more! Life has a way of happening.
