Love Or Lust?

A question for owners; what connects you to your companion, is it love or a lust thing, or what spurs you on to indulge in taking the step to turn things sexual?

Don't all rush at once ?

From others we have chatted to, it seems a mixture of the two, like a natural progression, experimentation and then taking the step and indulgence.

Would you agree?

There is a progression. I agree with that. The experience starts with exploration and experimentation and builds into a special companionship.

I also believe that have a body part inside me and of course the semen also creates a connection. Being penetrated is a very intimate experience and I also believe that semen is absorbed by the woman and that helps to create the bond.

I have said this before and others disagree, and that is ok. It’s just what I believe .

I'm not sure about equine, but canine semen is loaded to the brim with oxytocin and cortisol, not to mention all the other components and yes, the recipient does indeed absorb a lot of it. Cortisol is often referred to as the 'love hormone' and is MUCH more concentrated in canines, with wolves even higher. It is theorized that the stratospheric levels in wolf semen is why they mate for life, so I believe you're right on target.

For a moment if the same question was posed for 2 humans , would the responses differ? Since we are human our definitions of love and lust are limited to our minds and theories. To me, the bonding is the base for 'love' which my boy demonstrates to me. That affection ( all the combined attention, protectiveness, bonding) results in his urge to mate with me. He has shown the same bonding without mating too when i am sad or tired or demotivated by giving me support. I always believed their semen is absorbed by the woman too and it does help in creating that bond.

I personally think of the relationship as a sort of friends with benefits. I love him, and care for him and the sex is great, but I can’t really say I’m in love with him.
