K9 Allergic Reaction

been on my mind lately, many years back I tasted K9 semen, upon tasting I had an allergic reaction on my lips, swelling, and also had a bit of hives. My question with this is, does that mean that I’m allergic to all dog semen, or could it only be specific to one K9?

I do know someone who desensitized themselves over months and years to dogs and became a dog owner just by spending increasingly more time / more contact with dogs and using their symptoms to judge what they can handle. It is a very long and uncomfortable journey, and there's always the risk that it can kill you suddenly.
 
I'd say its hit or miss. Sometimes we have reactions to things just because. And personal allergies change as we age. Sometimes we grow out of things and sometimes we discover allergies we didn't know about. So it could have been a one time thing. You'll never know until you try again.
