Just passed a year of my girls passing. The only dog I ever had to have put down and the most tragic and painful thing I've ever experienced. The other night I dreamed she came to see me. I was standing and talking with a group of friends and she just walked up beside me. No one could see her but me. I dropped straight down and just started bawling crying hugging her. Everyone was confused by what I was doing. I could feel her fur and her warmth and softness. I prbly hugged her for over an hour and everything else drifted away except for me and her until I eventually woke up. It's a pain I'm not sure I'll ever get over. I miss her as much today as the day she left but it was nice to just have that little bit of time with her even if it was a dream.
