I mean yes, you're right, but there is a litle inconvenience that comes with this. I use a TAILS USB stick just touse this forum as I am a paranoid fuck. My dream app would be something on my phone that encrypts and sandboxes the local data, provides strong end-to-end encryption, uses some form of proxy communication, and can be locked on my phone with an additional layer of security. I also wouldn't want to have to tie it to a phone number or any other form of identification that could potentially be traced back to me.

I would also want to be sure that the developing party could be trusted to not spy on me. So I'm essentially looking for the impossible.

I have used KIK for around 9 years. I run it through Orbot just as I am using TOR for this site. I am sure if they REALLY wanted to find me they could. I have no issues with police tracking down pedos on those apps, just leave the zoo people alone.

Same. I was abused as a child and have a very strong opinion about those who target and harm children. I am so happy that I personally haven't run into that on the internet. Sorry if that was a little off topic.
