I assume you're female....Be careful trying to "introduce" anyone to this hobby. It can get you jailed, your dog impounded or worse, and lose you a friend. If it breaks publicly, you could lose your family as well. Do some reading in the fact based threads before trying anything like that.

Welcome to the forum Marika, im sure you will like it here. there are plenty of wonderful people here and many posts with a lot of information that will help you learn a great deal of important stuff . but you should be aware that there are some folk here that are lacking greatly in tact and etiquette , we do apologize ahead of time for the uncivilized and classless minority that seem to be incapable of interacting with a lady in a manner which is not crude or vulgarly forward, just know that, that unfortunately distasteful minority do not represent what you will find of most of us here in the forum, just know that if you receive any untoward messages there is the option button to ignore the sender of any such offensive messages, which basically functions as the block feature on most other social media platforms. but if you receive any messages which you find particularly egregious or make you uncomfortable you should most certainly bring those to the attention of any of our wonderful mods who work hard to keep the forum civilized and there is also the forums leader for lack of a better descriptor , Floofy Newfie , hes a nice guy who is well liked and respected and im sure would help you out if anyone gives you trouble.
oh one last thing, from time to time random antizoos will find there way here to spew their ignorant rhetoric and general hate of us, but you dont have to worry about them as they never last long , but if you feel so inclined and possess a sharp wit and a sharper tongue feel free to join us in the dumpster fire for the assured dogpile on them but you got to be quick , we tend to play a bit rough with them and we often break them before good fun can be had by all
