Absolutely!
As someone who's made a lot of porn, notes from the actress POV: Never again in production-style settings. Super tedious, a lot of really unscrupulous people, so I'd only film and edit real-life escapades.
As
@RexAndMe noted, it is often exploitative. It's an issue for sure, individually all we can do is try and have better ethics. Me? I'd like to meet sane, stable, fun owners in my "mature" age range or at least 35+, and I don't personally see any validity to the arguments that male dogs mounting women are anything but enthusiastically willing... "you dog!" is a horny guy euphemism for a reason
Tell how you
really think!
The OP didn't mention money, but eyes wide open though: In this genre (as in all porn) viewers are horrific at stealing/file sharing, so the "lowest and uninventive" negative connotations around money really lie squarely with the end user. "I don't pay for porn!" often means "I'm bored at work, receiving compensation and using company resources to freely watch stolen porn".
To this day porn exploits naive young women for profit, and rarely pays agreed-upon royalties. But I'd counter that porn has given many women I personally know the resources to live well, and better than without it. Research danni.com for the first female innovator online.
If you endure in the industry, there's a lot of lifestyle pressure to remain healthy, fit (yes, thin) and active which is nice, and if you "f*ck fans" as many of us do, you meet a lot of fabulously fun men -- and you quickly meet the
real person, often quite at odds with their public persona. It's interesting, and an interesting lifestyle...
