Hey all
I've casually checked out ZV for many years but only now have decided to commit and join. I don't know if having to set up a new email address was holding me back or if it was acknowledging this side of me!
I had a few experiences back many years ago, before I was married. I had a very brief encounter with a male dog, and I ended up getting very interested in animals and shared that with a gf who was receptive, and we were able to look after a friend's dog for a week. But such relationships can be fleeting, and after her I didn't meet anyone again into zoo. I was subsequently married for 18 years and my wife at the time was decidedly against anything zoo, so I suppressed all thoughts. We separated last year, though (unrelated to any of this), and so now I'm exploring the possibilities.
I'll be getting my own place shortly, and am really looking forward to getting a four-legged companion, and maybe, in the future, meeting a two-legged one too.
If anyone's wondering about the meaning of my username, I'll give the hint that it relates to an old German dude who thought a lot and was fastidiously punctual with his walks.
If you've got this far, thanks for taking the time to read!
Cheers
