Have you ever used the SkyView app on your phone? It lets you use the camera and accelerometer on your phone to see the position of planets, constellation, the ISS and other satellites. It’s AWESOME. Totally recommend it if you like to geek out on space

That’s really cool I also caught some good pictures on my phone but it was super weird I had to be on portrait mode in order to catch any of it in regular photo mode it wouldn’t capture it

I’m not in the pathway where you get the full eclipse. About 70% only. It was still very interesting

Jealous for all of you in the totality. Here in in partial eclipse land (maybe 60 percent) it was still pretty nice. But total darkness would have been way cool. Glad so many got to see it. I guess I’ll need to check out the next one in 2044 in the Dakotas. lol
