Hello everyone ! I’ve been lurking for a couple of weeks and thought I’d finally say hi. I’m 32, divorced and a single mom. When I was a young teen I discovered the pleasures of doggy love but coming from a Baptist family the guilt was too much and I left it behind and married shortly after high school. I’m no longer religious, newly divorced and want to find that joy again. I recently adopted a lovely 4yo Retriever from a work colleague who is moving to Europe. He’s gorgeous and I love being a dog mom again. I haven’t introduced him to anything yet and although I’m ready for more I want to prepare as much as possible. I’d like to make friends here - especially with women who are in a similar situation. Also if moms have tips about how to keep this secret from kids I’d love to hear them! Finally for me out friendships have to be text only. I admire the bravery of those who share photos and videos but I have too much to lose if I were to be found out! So please no requests for photos or identifying information. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Welcome to the Pasture, miss...Youll find a lot of good info, and some good people here...not everything is informative, not all users are trustworthy, though some are. The harmless ones are here just to yank the crank, but there are also those with dangerous ideas and bad intent. Please, use your head. The Mods ARE your friends. Glad you made it.

Remember to stick with the rules of the house, educate yourself and don't lose your head around here.
Also, as far as I know, you can filter out the sections of the forum you don't want to see.

Tot slot, voor mij moeten onze vriendschappen alleen uit tekst bestaan. Ik bewonder de moed van mensen die foto's en video's delen, maar ik heb te veel te verliezen als ik ontdekt zou worden! Dus geen verzoeken om foto's of identificerende informatie. Ik kijk ernaar uit je te ontmoeten!

Met my first Zooey in upstate NY. She would send her kids out to play and bring the pup in for play. Big red flag, don't do that. Kept the kids from finding out but was a signal to others. She had a big beautiful Great Dane, we had fun together for a year until she moved away.
 
Welcome Amy. There are a bunch of great woman here in the community. The key is finding them. Browse the forms see who is positing and what they are posting and you will start to find the types you are looking for. Once you find them reach out and I haven’t met anyone that isn’t willing to talk and share. Best of luck and be safe.
