Has anyone ever talked to a therapist about their identity?

I'm curious as I am currently waiting to match with a psychotherapist to discuss things regarding my sexual thoughts. And one of the things I am wanting to talk about will be zoosexuality.

I was wondering if anyone else on here has also talked with a professional about their feelings and what conclusions you came to afterwards.

Don't do that. It will feel nice to get it out for a few minutes but you will wish you'd never done it later, when things start to tumble down on you...

I talked to my therapist about it about 5 years ago, and started seeing him again about a month ago and talked about it more during my last session and he’s been very accepting, of course ymmv, but my therapist has been great, and previous therapists have been at least accepting when I tell them and I haven’t had any negative consequences
