My girl and i have had sex hundreds of times and shes fine 99% of the time but whenever i finish inside of her (only two times ever) she usually pants for a while and ends up vomiting, would there be a reason for this? i always take her outside after we're done to clear most of it out.

Do you feed her shortly before such activities?
I would suggest at least 1 to 1,5 hours of time between food intake and sexual activities. Some water is fine, tho.
After sexual activities there's no need to wait longer than 15-20 minutes until food can be given safely.

Stress is one aspect, the elongated stomach of dogs hangs length-wise in the body and can be quite sensitive to physical activities.

Aside from stomach twisting, which is deadly if not treated quickly (but quite rare, aside a few unfortunate breeds), copulative activities or potential orgasm on her side could result in side effects of the digestive tract (like vomiting, nausea, temporary lower blood pressure).

As I read your post you have only ejaculated in her twice during hundreds of times you had sex with her ? 🤔 condoms?
I have never mated a bitch, but cows and sows many times and I always came in her pussy. I know of some guys who always uses a condom. Which I never did with non-humans.
One could think she had an allergic reaction against your sperm - but then you are the first one I have read about, not just here at ZooVille but also back on BeastForum too. So maybe as suggested her reaction because you pounded so hard and deep when cumming ?

No, i fed her 3 or 4 hours beforehand. im thinking maybe it stresses her out because shes not used to it? i can try lying down with her for a couple hours after and see how she does.

No i dont use condoms, she got sick when i came in her for the first time so i always pulled out after that.
What color is her vomit? Foamy, liquid? Is there a blade of grass in it?
Its mostly liquid with a little bit of her food in it, no grass from what i could see.

That time span is absolutely fine, as such probably not food intake-related.

Allergies, as mentioned by the others, could play a role - but usually the effects of an allergy are not related to "just vomiting and then it's gone", if the reason is not based on oral consummation of something.

Eventually it is related to the hormone changes while reaching climax herself (or your orgasm, as dogs are able to quite well "link" to it), but there's no proven indicator so far.

Or really just coincidence, stress, another unknown factor. @Deagle113 , got an idea?

This is not a normal behavior, but it also isn’t because of the presence of sperm. I saw a patient once that would do this post mating every time they tried to breed her. It would take a more knowledgeable internal med specialist than I to pinpoint the exact cause, and we may just not actually know, but you can rest assured that you are not it!

@YanchaOkami mentioned stomach twisting. To my knowledge, it’s impossible to do this by rotating your dog, even if you held her upside down. The reason this happens is because large, deep chested dogs ingest a lot of air while scarfing down their food, and this air/gas bubble causes their stomach to rotate. It’s a surgical emergency, but not one that can be brought on by sex.

The way I’d go about things is to monitor it, which it sounds like you are doing an excellent job of. If it continues, and there is no vomiting or signs of nausea and decreased appetite at any other times for your sweet girl, then there is unlikely to be an underlying problem and you should be able to manage it pretty well with the same general anti-nausea drugs like Maropitant citrate (Cerenia) that we prescribe orally all the time for car sick doggos. Instead of giving it before car rides, give it before sex.

Just to give you a few tools for when and if you should take her to the vet due to vomiting—always have to stay vigilant for pyrometra in our doggos—you will want to take her if she is dehydrated, or continues to vomit even after calming down/anti nausea medication.

There are two main methods to check for dehydration. The more accurate method is to feel the gums. They should feel wet and slippery normally. If they feel dry or sticky she is dehydrated. The second method is called the "skin tent test." This is performed by gently pulling up on the skin behind the shoulders and letting go when you feel resistance. Count how long it takes for the skin to return to a normal position. A normal skin tent is less than 2 seconds.

If it’s only at these specific times, and entirely dependent on sex, I couldn’t tell you the cause, only how to manage it. As long as she is still having a good time and enjoying herself, I wouldn’t worry too much.

Oh, it wasn't meant as if stomach twisting could be the cause for this. Turning the dog wouldn't cause it as well, true.

Befriended mushers had unfortunately to grieve over losses in their pack because they gave the dogs food shortly before heavy bodily activity which can lead to stomach twisting (at least in some Nordic breeds, GSDs and maybe others), which is why the suggestion mushers mostly use would relate to "feed them one to two times a day and leave enough time between activities / sled dog pulling and food intake".
The amount of air can play a role, I am not sure - the "hastily intake" does (and even more with rough meat which is hard to digest without enough chewing of it - some dogs "inhale" food).

As such it was more related to the possibility of food intake shortly before bodily activities or sex leading to stomach unrest or comparable - not stomach twisting (that would be deadly).

But as there are multiple hours between food intake and sexual activity you're absolutely right about it not being linked.

Bingo. Exercise after the ingestion of larger meals absolutely increases the risk of GDV, and should be avoided, 100% with ya there, good advice.

I would love to work with Mushers. Lots of Alaskan sled dog races here in the US takes volunteer vets—just not sure I could sleep in a converted high school gym in freezing weather waiting on the dog teams!

Wow, making me think. Everyone has posted very well informed good advise. Wish I could ask my daughter (she's a vet) but don't think it would be a good idea. Lol. Not food related, not grass , dogs do that when they feel upset tummy. Again sex many times ,only vomits when you ejaculate? My I ask how long between finish and vomiting? Only thing coming to mind is rare but allergies? Rough shouldn't be anything, see male dogs mating. This is a tough one. Going to try to keep up, cause I'm stumped here. Good luck.

Reading your response on this feed nice to hear from people who know their stuff. This one has me stumped

Again your another one who knows what their talking about. Wish he had a friendly vet. I'm stumped.

Please do has me wondering and worrying about you both. I can't ask daughter, you can't see a vet. So many questions, and honestly even with answers, not thinking I could figure this out.

Well the last 4 days she hasn't vomited once. All i did was sit with her for a couple hours after and she was fine, im guessing it was just stress or anxiety from something she wasnt used to. Thanks for the help, especially considering this is my first post on the site.
