What are some of the soundtracks from games you absolutely love?, For me it'd me the soundtracks from the Half-Life series, the DOOM games, Subnautica and Subnautica Below Zero, and definitely Life is Strange, the soundtrack from that game just...does something to you, especially "Spanish Sahara" that song.... just....when ever I hear it I can't stop myself from tearing up, one of the most sad video game endings next to Valiant Hearts. Like seriously, I don't know how anyone could sit through Chloe's funeral without breaking down and crying.

I saw this title and I instantly thought of the DOOM soundtrack!! (2016 and the old ones :p)

Undertale has a really cool soundtrack that I really like! :)
Oh yeah, I forgot about Undertale. As well as the opening to Until Dawn, my god I've never seen such a beautiful opening credits cinematic in a game before, the design, the song they used, everything fits together to get you pumped for an amazing game

Judging by your username do you also like the black mesa half life remake soundtrack? :p

*Megalovania strikes back* lol

I also like some rpg, jrpgs music.

Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Breath of Fire III, Final Fantasy, also Digimon and Pokemon games have amazing music.

Then i know it's not original from the game itself, but the songs that the GTA games recopile are amazing

WipeoutXL, Okami, Metroid Prime, Mirror's Edge, Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, Secret of Mana, Earthbound, Spyro, Rez, Pikmin, Lumines, Donkey Kong Country, Tetrisphere, and anything by Tim Follin and Jonne Valtonen. Those guys are from a different fucking planet, I can't believe the shit Follin made come out of an NES, and Valtonen's demoscene tracker and orchestral arrangements are crazy. Check out Solstice and Silver Surfer.

Hell yes, I especially love the "Forget about Freeman" song, you climb out of the sewers, it starts playing while you fight multiple Marines and a tank, and in the sky it is sunset and the Manta-Rays and military jets and helicopters chasing each other, it really sets the feel of "this is humanity's last night, after this, who knows what will happen" (of course obviously the Combine invaded and now we're left on a perpetual cliff hanger) I also enjoy the psycopath boss themes from the Dead Rising series, especially Jerii's theme, and can't forget about "THIS IS MY STOOOOOOORE"ConcernedPeriodicGrayfox-size_restricted.gif
As well as Dlyan from DR3, and his iconic weapon

I don't know what's funnier, the "lust cannon" or the dildo cannon626-6269975_latestcb-20130429052031-dead-rising-3-dildo-cannon.png

Dirge of Cerberus. Fighting enemies to a Gackt soundtrack was one of the best gaming moments of my life! If only the controls were better. *holds up "When's Dirge of Cerberus Remaster?" sign*

Honestly the best parts of the game are near the end. The level designs and boss fights are damn impressive for PS2 era.

This freaking game introduced me into furries, lol, rpgs, and also japanese culture overall.

Love the voice actings there, "PATTECKTO!"

Oh yeah, the soundtracks from the Fallout and BioShock games, I absolutely love the old time music, I'm only 19 but damn, it sounds so much better than any shit produced nowadays, I'll never forget my first time entering Sinclair Spirits in Fort Frolic, god damn that store was creepy, hell the entire fort was creepy.

But that's what makes the Dead Rising series fun, they are like the "anti-zombie" game, no way near serious, some parts try to be serious, but fail, hell I remember this gem
it's like Capcom has 2 zombie type series. Resident Evil which is serious, and Dead Rising which is funny, and encourages you to just fuck around and mess with the zombies, plus, DR2-Off the Record... just.. just look at the trailer ?

Oh yeah, the bastardized versions of real songs that appear in the Wolfenstein series, even though I can't understand a word of what they are singing, it's still catchy...for something made by Nazis that is. I especially like house of the rising sun (talking about a place in Berlin of course instead of new Orleans...as that place is well.....a concentration camp basically), and Mond Mond Ja, Ja

Answers and Dragonsong from Final Fantasy XIV might just be my favorite pieces of music from games.
,
Other soundtracks I really enjoy are Okami, NieR, Xenoblade Chronicles, Bloodborne and Octopath traveler. There are a lot of good soundtracks but those are the ones that come to mind atm.

Alan Wake's soundtrack. Poets Of The Fall. Love them so much. Bought little collection of their albums 6 years ago:)

I seriously love RPGs, and the music of the genre is my absolute favorite! Final Fantasy VIII, IX, and X, along with Star Ocean: The Second Story, Legend of Mana, Chrono Trigger & Cross, the list goes on! Diamond City Radio got me into oldies. Any of the Final Fantasy Piano Collections are a must-listen! My favorite though? Very hard to choose. Maybe FFVIII, FFX, or Star Ocean. I can't decide.
