Favorite dog breed and why?

Got to say collies are my favorite. Grew up on the farm I presently live and Dad and I always had a collie. Learned with a collie and I loved sleeping with our Shep (original name huh!) He kept e warm and happy. When I am in a position again, a collie will be my ;over
I forgot about our Collie. He was smooth coated. A herded not flock kind. We had him along with some other K9s for a bit over 11 years. He had a genetic nerve disability that on his 11th year he could not get off the floor without help. No cure of it, so as much as it hurt we said good bye. I know he's in a better place. We always have our pets cremated & their ashes alone with their collar are in our bedroom on a shelf. Some folks say we're nuts for not just letting the vet dispose of the body(s). We love our mutts to much for that!

Stay Frosty,

Stay Frosty,
I am sorry your collie developed a nerve disability. I know you have ( or had) other dogs and hope you can continue having one or some make love to you !

Yes we have. Everything from rescued large mk9 intact, GSD's, Golden Retrievers, Irish Sitters, etc. Shared many more with other owners. My BSB & I have been together over 60 years. Both of us were introduced to this life style; BSB-11, me 13. We also owned a "mini" stallion (about the size of & weight of a large GSD, & a Jack small donkey.

I'm flying solo now. The "change of life" for my BSB stripped her of all of her sexual wants, needs, or desired. That sudden change has left me in a nonsexual life for the last 20 years.

Sorry - got cut off as I was answering your post. I would suggest anyone who has a significant other (F) that some time in your relationship she will go through the "change of life." Some advice to my M companions; Stay calm, empathic, sympathetic, loving, understanding & prepare yourself for the possibility that your love may lose part or of all her sexual desires. It can be rough on you.

I did not take a vow of celibstity(sp) or abstinence. And, after 20+ years of traveling through the desert of no sex, I found this site. What do I hope to get out of the forum are FWB. F, M, MFM (or another mix). I'm one to just about anything. In another post I will provide what I will not do in any encounter.

Thanks for reading this. Hope to hear from you & others. Stay Frosty!!!!
