Fake User Awareness Thread

The really scary part, apart from IP addresses, was that the data he posted included longitude and latitude for some devices. I assume this is a mobile thing. Don't access this site from a mobile device.
It is and it isn't. Anyone can look this stuff up for any IP. For example this site: iplocation dot net/ip-lookup , (i've replaced the period with 'dot' so there's no direct link), will tell you where they think your IP is located. Some sites are better at this than others. ipleak dot net/ is normally more accurate and provides a zoom in/out map. Most of the time the result will just be accurate to a few miles. However, I know of 2 examples where someone zoomed in on the map and the site had accurately identified the correct house where the device was located rather than just the general location.

There are multiple things people can do to stay anonymous. Regularly checking your Google Privacy settings and switching all the trackers off will help. Switching the geo-location settings off on your Windows operating system. If you use Firefox switch geo-location to off in the 'about-config' settings. Change your DNS provider to Cloudfare or Quad9, (instructions here!). Most of this stuff takes 30 seconds to do on a Win10 PC. Above all else use TOR or a VPN for any site that could cause you real-World trouble. Even a free VPN from reputable providers such as Proton or Privado will make it much harder to identify you. Disabling Javascript for such sites will also improve your internet safety.

At least here, the average user is asigned a dynamic IP, unless you request a fixed one. So your IP changes with every connection. Therefore, locating by IP is most luckyly, regional.

Of course, providers keep record of who used every IP at a given time, so if there is sonething ilegal, they can identify the person, but that info is not generally available.

Oh, look, he's gone.
He claimed to have DB access... Why didn't he then just silently pull a copy and hand that over to the authorities, hm?

All that posturing and taunting... Overcompensation.
Just waiting till they show a screenshot of a windows dialog box showing "importing database" when its just a generic meme that can photoshopped. Surprised he didn't say give me admin.

Those can show even if youre connecting from your home isp. Its just a generic location. Not giving your actual location.

That's why I keep saying that we need to limit new accounts, no posting for 24 hours after account creation, flood control until they reach a certain number of posts, no links to outside sites until a set amount of time and posts and lastly increase the stupid as hell 10 post requirements for PMs to something that requires some actual effort to unlock.
I wanted those ip grabber links added to the censored list. Guess who i asked and guess who ignored it long ago. They could also be posting those in dms or adding invisible image links

I went ahead and added the domain this latest jack-off posted today to the censored list, and to the spam management list. But if you have some additional links, feel free to send them to me and I'll add them.

Here's how it'll appear... SPAM_LINK! IP_GRABBER!

It should also get flagged for moderator approval, but from testing in the past it's sometimes hit or miss.

You can pretty much google them.
And then google more of them. :D

Or don't keep location services on. Sites have no idea where I'm connecting from. When maps and such load they're in wild locations in other non-neighboring states.

We need to talk about this.

And discuss whether we should implement a delay on posting and a ZCA like limits on what you can do.
More people will benefit from it, than just limiting damage by antizoos.

Is it just me or the site is under a DOS attack? It's too much of a coincidence that the slowness and timeouts started right after the c*ntard we're talking here got smoked by the admins.

There have been erratic page loading issues for several days. Not my place to speculate why.

While you have her up on the hoist, can you guys check her oil and rotate her tires? 🤣
Check for dings in her undercarriage?

Is there another site that we (all of us) plan to use if ZV ever goes down permanently? I don’t know how they did it from I think beastforum to I assume ZV (I would’ve been too young and too cautious to join anyways).

Oddly enough I can not view her profile at all, never encountered that before, and it's only happening with @Valkiria.

That is strange, I can't either. I can pull her up in the admin panel, and as far as I can see, her account looks fine there. I saved her settlings, but it didn't seem to help.

I get 404.
I was talking about his profile, the profile of the banned user, frogulus wrote him and he deleted it as "not primary target".
