Dog sperm as a way to prevent unwanted pregnancy in women.

In the name of science I tested this theory.
And no, dog sperm does not work as a contraceptive.

of course it doesn't. canine sperm and it's behavior is well-studied.
human sperm is made to rush in and not really last.
canine sperm is made to last for prolonged times and then rush, waiting for ovulation that usually happens (sometimes multiple times) at the end of heat cycle. it's literally the reason why a litter of puppies can have multiple fathers regardless of who is her first or last during the cycle. technically, you can have a litter of six pups with each having a different father.

I know.
But in thread after thread people argued that it might be possible, because no controlled study has been made on the subject.
So I did a controlled study and posted a very brief report on the study.
Now a study on the subject exist. Even if I did not involve the university or had it reviewed by peers for obvious reasons.

i'll go out on a limb it's the same ppl who argue that a canine penis goes in fully hard. or that it penetrates cervix. or ejaculates so much your belly bulges up...
the classic "it works like that for me (a human), it's the same for everyone!" and "it's my fantasy so it must be true!" duo logic. reminds me of that one dude who "nerded out about cervical penetration being totally really" he also made a "study" thread of sorts.

don't think an actual study is of much help with them. even if you somehow did get it peer reviewed.

I did it very empirically and anybody that performs the test as in my study will end up with the same results if the parameters are the same (most importantly the fertility on the test subjects).

Only difference should be how many menstrual cycles it takes until an all human pregnancy starts.

But you are probably correct, those kind of people can't be argued with and no amount of data presented to them can make them change their opinions.

Human sperms are very eager swimmers. Dead set on finding their mark. Other sperm cells does not make them loose their focus.

If you think about it for a second.
Take a couple that really wants to have a baby. They will probably have sex atleast twice a day from several days before ovulation. That means that when ovulation day comes it will be a lot of sperm in the uterus. And they are not disrupted from doing their job.

Take the size of sperm cells in consideration.
A uterus can house billions upon billions of sperm cells. A couple of billions of canine sperm cells will be in the way for some of the human sperm cells, but most of the vital ones on the correct path will just swim past them.
 
The dog sperm, realizing that there's no dog egg to fertilize, get pent up and and then take out their frustration on the leg/tail of the human sperms trying to swim by. The human sperm get weighed down with all the dog sperm dry humping them. :gsd_laughing:


but seriously, I just hope you don't plan on using abortion as a contraceptive when this one proves to be less effective than traditional methods

There's always gonna be that one sperm who likes to post macho pics with his shirt off, and claims he once got shot into a tigress. He'll stir up a war of aggression to take control of the reproductive tract from other sperm. The problem is that those kinds of wars can go on for over a year, but sperm only live a few days, so it pretty much always ends with every sperm dead and no fertilized egg.
 
Too lazy to read the whole thread, but I remember someone here posting that they couldn't get pregnant when they tried. However after they gave some time without the dog intervening, she got pregnant. So there seems to be something happening, maybe just sheer number difference between dog and human sperm count does it, but it seems to be working (to some degree, at least)

Not a single one of you will make it back alive, and those that do manage to engage that hellish human sperm will fail to prevent most of their number from passing our position, none of you stand a chance of fertilizing that egg over there either, so the whole battle is pointless. We've been wondering if dogs semen would make a good spermicidal agent.

No. Not only is there no research on it, it also does not stay in the vagina easily because it is watery.
You can try of course, but I believe you will find the result unmeasurable or influenced by your bias.
If you do not want to breed with 99% success rate, use a condom.
