Something I often read was "male dogs are always ready" or "some males just won't mount"
Meanwhile my dog shows he doesnt want to more often than not. Its frustrating but i mostly felt guilty. Did I force him the times he mounted me and he didnt want to be impolite?

Shibas are... Interesting! They have their own head, a typical primitive breed. You teach him something and he goes "fuck you"
I dont live alone so usually I'm only alone at night, i guess poor baby just wanted to sleep then.
After a while without trying anything sexual with him he got really desperate. In the morning. I never considered that he prefers a different time! So now we moved our fun time from 10 pm to 10 am, at least when we are alone.
Moral of the story: sometimes your dog just wants to bone at different times.
Also remember that those that dont want to mount deserve love and kissies on their head
