Does your zoophilia come from trauma?

No, I dont think so. Allthou it can be a factor. For example, people who get sexualy assaulted as a minor have a higher chance ending up beeing a psychopath. That does not mean all psychopaths got sexualy assaulted as a minor.

I did not had a traumatic childhood, and not had mutch contact with animals, yet still ended up beeing a zoophilie.

If I think of it, it's not only plausible, it's certain. Hardly I get along with other people, my social and romantic life was a mess more than half of the time. I had it coming
 
I was always quiet and didn't relate to other kids. I discovered beast forum fairly young and was captivated. I wonder if I had not been exposed to bestiality porn that young if I'd have a normal sexuality? Doesn't matter at this point. It's all said and done. I knew I wanted to live the zoophile lifestyle and formulated a rough plan to achieve what I need to live that way. I didn't have any sexual trauma, but one of my parents went through serious issues which affected the family causing mental stress then emotional numbness. I would say the family hardship I endured along with my natural personality has made me a very stoic person. Being gay and zoo made me feel like I'd just be rejected my the majority so I never cared to make close friendships... I remember looking at my parents lives and asked myself is that really it? Marry and have a miserable life? I want to live for what brings me the most happiness and that is being around animals.
 
no, my childhood was pretty good. i was always interested in animals and it simply turned sexual as well during puberty.

on similar note and i am sorry if it sounds insensitive or whatever, but if it comes from a trauma or like someone wanting to spite their parents or rebel their own upbringing is it really "zoophilia"? like, do ppl like that actually find animals attractive or is it "i'd rather be with anything that isn't human"? like, they're not really into animals and just don't want to be with humans for whatever reason?

i mean, seeing my preferred animal (mainly dogs) not just their genitalia does the same things to me what i assume seeing like boobs does to a straight man. similarly, just touching a dog i find attractive will get me aroused in the same way i assume a straight man would if they touched an attractive woman.

Probably not. Or at least I can not pinpoint anything specific that would make me prefer animals before humans as a result of some experience.
I actually did not like animals for the majority of my childhood. :D

I just have a lot of trauma from abusive family members and authority figures and friends and classmates and exes and every time I was upset animals were always there to cheer me up and make me feel loved

No, not at all. And I don't like the notion that zoos are "damaged goods". I had a relatively normal life with no trauma. I didn't even grow up on a farm with lots of exposure to animals or anything, I just always loved them. And when I got older I realised I loved them a little differently to how others do.
 
Human relationship destroyed in early childhood and autism, so yes you can say that.

Why should trauma be a reason for zoophilia? This is the same insane assumption as in Germany, where many Middle Eastern refugees rape German women, randomly stab people, or drive their cars into crowds of people because they are traumatized and can't help it.

No idea. Not that I'm aware of. Puberty is a traumatic period in time. A simple crush on a peer can lead to extream emotional responses. Sprinkle in various mental health issues like depression, anger, or anxiety , most everyone at that age can claim some sort of feelings of trauma.

Hahaha update ( I totally forgot I had extream trauma in my teens so much so I still deal with the byproducts of it to this day) however I was already a zoo enthusiasts by then.

No , I had dreams , they were like regular sex dreams, but with animals instead of humans. But I had a pretty typical American childhood. I used to have sexual dreams about my friends dad too... 🤷‍♂️

Absolutely no offense, but your statement is, without an experienced trauma, you would not have discovered it.... Conversely, this means for me that your tendency to zoophilia is based on a trauma, which I personally don't believe has any connection. The timing was maybe a coincidence. Otherwise every fetish would have to be based on a trauma somewhere or at least be related to it.

Same here, I've always been attracted to animals and have always loved them. For me its a very innate quality. Could be influenced by autism but I can't imagine I would suddenly be any less zooey if I was neurotypical
