I am a member of an animal protection association and at a gathering I met her, she is from another country in the area and somehow we connected very easily and became better friends.

Agree to this, the initial shock and curiousity they have is something to navigate though. Have a few good laughs about it.

I wouldnt tell family due to religious reasons, however the friends I choose are more open minded.

You can probe people to see how open they are to other sexual fetishes.

I like to ask if they have seen zoo material before and guage their reactions. Ranging from "people need to go to jail" being someone I probably wouldnt share it with voluntarily, or "it was a curious but not for me", someone who is more open to the idea and can accept it.

Overall, have never felt judged by my friends, and most seem to forget about it after some time.
