I read up that back in 2016 that people in Canada were legally allowed to have sex with animals, though in 2019 that it was amended and became completely illegal. I was wondering if there were any Canadian zoos out there and how they work around this new law, im curious as where I live, its completely legal.
 
I had read somewhere that the law in Canada was that anyone could have non-penetrative sex with animals, but anything more would be punishable by law. Is that the 2016 law referred to or something completely different?
 
Its different now, ANY sexual interaction with an animal will result in jail time and being put on a sex offender list.
