Can dog prefer a woman over a bitch?

I know that’s it could be dumb but I’m curious anyway.
Not sure about that, there are so many physical differences. Interesting idea and question though. I do know that that term Bitch probably applies more to us human females then the female dog if we consider all the meaning of the word. Bitch can be a female dog or express displeasure which apparently we do all too often, where a female dog cannot -l-

I’ve been told by a few owners that if a male dog has frequently been with women, that he will choose a woman over a bitch. I’m fairly confident that our dog would choose me if given the choice, mostly because of our familiarity with each other and the regularity of the act for us, but that could be swayed I guess if the bitch was in heat. Would make for an interesting experiment no doubt.

Topic title describe typical normal situations and positive, friendly conditions for mating. But I was thinking... what about extreme situations?
Obvious problem is not every bitch in heat can treat male dogs friendly. Of course, female dogs normally starting "flirt" with male dogs but not always!
I've seen (in different community about dogs and domestic pets) that some owners reported female dogs in heat become agressive towards male dogs. Barking, attacking, avoiding close contacts - it really happens!

Incidents like this are known and lot of owners discuss about it. Everybody knows that most important factors for male dogs sexual activity are:
- breeding instinct
- female dog in heat and their signals for mating
- smell of pheromones

But what about situation when female dog won't allow males to get close but human female "let them in"? It's hard to say who will be choosen by male dog in this case: friendly woman prepared for mating or agressive female dog in heat. Nobody completed that kind of research.. for now.

Another point to remember as eluded above, a female dog is not always receptive i.e usually when in heat and not any other time whereas a human female is

At least that was my experience when we had "breeding" dogs, any other time than being in heat, she had no interest in him and he just left her alone - they were a pair so not much aggression when it came to that time but boy was he interested during that time and especially if we kept them apart so not to mate but then it calmed down once she was no longer in heat

Humans are one of only few species to have sex for the pleasure whilst most other species are pure instinctual / reproductive reasons

So if the opportunity arises for a male dog by a female human presenting herself in a sexual way to a male dog his instincts kick in but overtime it I would think it would become more as he learns what the "sexual" signals and pheromones are given off by his mate

And if he has never been near a female dog, well then, he knows nothing different than this female, he can have almost anytime ;)

I’ve actually heard that male dogs do masturbate for just sexual pleasure, i.e. when they hump a stuffed animal. I think if a woman has been part of this masturbation or sexual pleasure routine and a male dog is familiar with women for this act that would further lean the choice towards the woman over the female dog. Again, I think it weighs heavily on if the male dog has had sexual experiences with women, but if he has, I really think the woman is the female chosen in this scenario. And, as noted above, the woman would more than likely be the more willing recipient as well.

We currently have a "rescue" boy who was fixed before he came to us but must have mated before as he has a "Wanky Blanky" that he goes off and has some alone time with so yes, they do get "urges"

As much as I would like him to , Sadly he has no interest in anything but the blanky

My husky had more experience with human females than female dogs. He always preferred to be around girls even as a young pup. I like to think he thought the human female form was sexy. He sure loved fucking them.

If a dog never mated before, he will go after the bitch. If he has mated only with women, he could choose any, female dogs smell wonderful 😀. If he has had sex with both dogs and women, the same as before. When a dog has had some sort of conditioning, maybe he will develop some sort of preference for women because it is what works for them. A personal example (I'm a man): a dog whom I suspect never mated with a female dog but many times with me, was chasing a dog in heat between other males. I jus happen to casually pass alongside and he sensed my scent; he didn't hesitate to follow me instead of the dog. I guess he thought "I'm horny and I know this guy can be useful". Other dogs had reacted the same way when dogs in heat are around and they know they can get what they want easily with the human.

Are you putting both on the same room or area? I would think the female dog in heat would be the attraction by instinct and scent. But if she was unreceptive and the human bitch was available he would take the easy target....That is a really interesting scenario and one that should be tried...thank you for making me think about it
