I get where you’re coming from. It was after I had a 7 1/2 year relationship end that I found this forum because my interest in the subject also surged at the time. I think maybe the idea of having my pup be involved appealed to me because of the depth of emotion I share with him? Idk I guess I’d feel more secure in some ways if I could develop a relationship where he was the focus of me and someone else rather than on each other initially or something
