I would love to hear from some people that actually read or listen to audiobooks to get suggestions on new ones.

I can't say enough about dungeon crawler Carl that was one of the funniest series of books I have ever listened to.

And there's a Stephen King book called fairy tail which I thought was excellent.

But do any of you have suggestions on books that are funny or just great to listen to?

I normally listen to these why I drive or why I'm doing farm work so I do have a lot of time and go through them quickly.
 
Actually just got through listening to fairy tale a month or so back, really enjoying it. following to see what all people suggest here.
 
If you're looking for funny, and like British humor, check out Bleak Expectations. It's actually an audio drama, not an audio book, but it's a hilarious satire of Victorian literature, mainly Dickens and Great Expectations.
 
OK, if you’re looking for something funny, it’s the beginning of a series you can try
One for the Money: by Janet Evanovich
If you’re looking for something a little more serious, you can try Cast in Shadow by Michelle Sagara also a fairly big series and finally I’ll give you my favorite Hounded by Kevin Hearne
