Artofzoo trend... Thoughts?

I'm honestly curious to hear what you guys think of this, so I scroll tick tock a bit and came across the artofzoo trend, and it makes me honestly uncomfortable to see their reactions, I get were a nich group and it's taboo for the rest of people, but its our lifestyle. I feel kinda looked down on for being a part of this by them and i dont want that...i mean I know its always been this way cuz people dont understand...but it still irrates me. I just wanna know other peoples opinions I guess, cuz honestly tho ive never partasipated in the act as of yet I have learned alot from all of you and youve helped me out with questions before, I feel comfortable to share expiences on here when I have them, and I feel like this community is a good thing to have. So penny for your thoughts?

Obviously that will get many sites shut down, social awareness about zoophilia will increase and due its extreme taboo nature there is going to be a great deal of new antizoophilia militants, however not everything is loss. We also might get an influx of curious people who in their morbidity and possibly latent zoophilia will get engaged and possibly end up accepting they like it and even join. I would be curious to see stats of new members joining the forum before during and after this trend. About what you feel, while its natural and part of being highly social animals we also have the capacity to rationalize complex social constructs and thus choose if we care or not, From my experience the best approach is to not let the opinion of others affect you too much, understand the opinion, analyze it logically and put in perspective everything you can, from immediate mechanistic consequences up to your emotional and personal desires then evaluate if what they say makes sense and the importance you give them is worth it, usually it isn't and such opinions are very illogical and stupid.

Example, in the 80's smoking was promoted in movies and western media as something that makes you look cool and such, yet inhaling smoke out of a burning stick its far more irrational and "against nature" than wanting to have sex with another creature. One is totally human and made up, damaging to health and putting a great burden on society, the other is a side effect of our evolution as conscious and instinct driven animals, sex being such an evolutive force of course it had to be tied with powerful motivators very early on the tree of life.

So you're saying that we should get bestiality promoted in movies and western media as something that makes you look cool?

Brilliant!

No, it was an example about how illogical and irrational society is. Zoophilia has an excessively negative image so that wont work very well at least not simply taking the approach of tobacco companies. Media can be used to slowly normalize it but it would have to be made very slowly and inconspicuous and very well thought. After all the internet is already making that but we are below a threshold were it is kinda unpredictable what outcome we are going to have in the long term. So far research points very very slowly minds are changing and seeing it as "maybe its not that bad after all" specially in the scientific community which I think is who can help us the most. Sadly there are a couple of prominent researchers that stick to their guns and social bias (to the point they classify true zoophilia as more deviant and pathological than zoo sadists that torture animals for pleasure (Aggrawal 2011)) and take advantage of their authority to make us look worse.

this "trend" is a nice proof of what an average person thinks about "us" and what "we" like and i'm kinda fine with it... and it's a good thing to have next time this forum gets a tad echo chamber-y and some new "zoo savior" tries the usual "i'm sure many ppl do or tried to do it!". for reference, check the "do you look at ppl walking their dogs and wonder?" thread. lots of ppl seem to think that everyone who has a dog tried to or had sex with him/her.

While I agree we can obtain useful data and insight into the average mentality and opinion of society I think its extremely biased. Consider that most of the users of such sites care too much about their personal image on society, they literally exhibit themselves to others in such social platforms and its a reaction video, literally about seeing what others "think" Therefore they will be compelled to follow the status quo of what is considered an appropriate reaction, aka zoo=yucky and wrong ewww But the seed will be planted on their mind and sure many will become curious on their personal privacy.

I know its always been this way cuz people dont understand
Not always, just about 1650 years :)

Do you know them? If not, screw that, doesn't matter.

Too many at once is not a good thing. They need time for assimilation or else you end up with beastforum.

Indeed, considering the majority of consumers of bestiality porn seem to do it as fetish. I can't really say with certainty what percentage of those people might become influenced hence my ambiguous and probably seemingly positive vibe. Very likely it will be a small portion of them but I get the gut feeling that the amount of population who has had sexual thoughts involving non human animals (not necessarily potential zoophiles) is higher than the numbers cited in recent research, the very same makes mention of this possible bias explained as the pressure of conforming to societal norms ( in Canada the percentage of LGBTQ+ prevalence has increased by more than 100% from 1999 to today, explained by the dissolving of taboo). Ironically research methods used in some publications to taint us (can't remember exactly which but are mostly research made by criminology and forensics researchers) can give good experimental setups to make research less biased when applied properly. So I would like to see the same study done on the average population instead of populations with guaranteed comorbidity with psychiatric disorders and sex offence background. I think psychiatric patients and sex offenders under treatment/criminalized could be more deinhibited to acknowledging past activities and thoughts against societal norms, yet the prevalence of sexual contact with non-human animals in the same population increased more than 200% when asked with a polygraph. So I would say if such experiment was done on the average population I wouldn't be supriced if we see numbers jumping to far more than double the current estimations.

I don't know. I'm an IT major, not psychology, research here is very different. The results vary over 100%, people won't talk about it, those who do are very secretive, I honestly have no idea how many of us there are. Especially what the distribution of ideas is. Maybe that's the info we need the most as a community: how zoophiles view zoophilia, themselves and animals. Not just self proclaimed ones, in general.

I think everyone might have missed the point of this thread (possibly.) Basically there is a trend on TikToc called "Google ArtOfZoo." Where you are challenged to Google it and record your reaction to what you find (bestiality porn obviously.) Most people have the reaction "eww gross!"

There's also the troll version of this trend where people will spam "Google ArtOfZoo" in the comment sections of videos.

How this makes me feel? Meh, I don't care all that much. I am what I am and I know that society will not ever accept what I am. Despite what I am being harmless. Most people are disgusted by the very thought of bestiality and even more so from seeing it. We're a sexual minority, and a controversial one that society as a whole has a hard time understanding. (Most don't even try to understand our position.)

What's the news regarding Art of Zoo. It's currently offline. They say they are making some changes. What's the real story here?

A long overdue upgrade. The site has been creaking for quite a while. I think the state of it put people off. Having a cup of tea while waiting for a page change was challenging.

My main use was to verify as an owner.

Oh that explains some things. I had noticed recently on social media "normal folks" making sly ArtofZoo jokes and references and I was wondering what was up with that.

I remember several years back there was a trend on Youtube of people reacting to a CannibalCupcake video. These kinds of things just pop up from time to time when all kinds of porn are just openly accessible on the internet I guess.
But let's be honest, these kinda shock challenges aren't really new to the internet, this is just a new generation discovering them. Anyone who has a positive reaction to what they'll find will surely not upload a reaction of it.

Who cares about AOZ? It will be a great day when it goes down in flames, and the ashes are blown to the four winds.
To hell with AOZ.

In my opinion, the "Ewww Gross" reaction is often a trained, cultural one. Children play in the mud, touch and play with poop, pet animals whereever they can.
I touched, catched and played with Mice, Worms, Grills, Grasshopper, Slugs, Snails and Frogs as a kid.
Who stopped me? My Parents did.
"Dont touch those", they told me.
"Why?", i asked.
"You dont do this, this is dirty, this is misbehaving" were their answers.
I did not think like that, i did not care, i did not feel dirty or misbehaved about interacting with those critters.
My point is: Zoophilia was considert dirty by religion and as such, forbidden. We made it a taboo. That wasnt always the case.
Their ard stone painting thousands of years b.c., in ancient rome and greece, it was allowed, or they just did not mind or care.
Trying to normalise "good, respectful, empathic Zoophilia", even if by a tiny, little bit, in my opinion, is just trying to get it back into an ancient, previous and accepted state. Many pilgrim had only their horses, donkeys, sheeperd their sheep or and dogs.
All before the religious bullshit- but sadly, the dominant way of life for centuries

We should all hope AOZ never comes back. According to a ZV mod in a forum comment, AOZ lied to ZV's host, making up false claims about ZV content, which caused a lot of our outages. I have looked all over ZV for that quote, but cannot find it. Maybe the person removed it for some reason. I don't know. I hope it's still here, somewhere.

I remember seeing something like that, some months back.
The Guy who started AOZ/ ZOOSKOOL has wanted to dominate the 'Industry' for at least the past 20 years. His idea of Domination is for all the money in it to flow in his direction. Reality is such revenues have shrunk to next to nothing. B/F closed and stated that. Adam's content is well- shot, but it's dependent on a steady stream of new girls to keep itself fresh, rather than innovative situations.... because its basic pole and hole....How many different ways can you think of? Really, not many. Even Kama Sutra position number 24 is position 23 with your eyes open. Its mostly a waste of time. Even with his watermark system, every flick hes offered has eventually shown up elsewhere for free.

At this point making or selling porn is pointless. The only ones really making money are the directors off of disk after disk is sold in some other various movies that come out. I literally ever bought one dvd. EVER. Thank the web and seen that done that kind of deal

You might be thinking of a comment I made. Back when I was host/admin for some Zoo sites Adam was one of two porn pushers that routinely complained and made copyright charges on any and everything with the word "zoo" in it on the theory that others were stealing his clicks. It got so bad that he even claimed copyright over one of my member's vacation pictures that had nothing Zoo about them.

It's good to know someone else saw it. Thank-you, SB.
I nearly drove myself crazy looking for it; more crazy than I already am.
