You are looking at a dog that is going to be very high energy, intelligent and stubborn. This won't be a dog that will do well in an apartment or if you work long hours or be a couch companion. It will be a dog that needs hours of exercise and not just a romp in the yard or a 2 hour walk around the neighborhood. Different kinds of toys and enrichment puzzles will help a lot. Licky mats, outward hound puzzles, stuffed Kongs and more. Engage your pet with work too, work does not mean it has to be a drug dog, work its mind, teach it tricks and have it work for food.
If you are lucky, the shepherd part will be in charge if the trainability aspect in your pet. If its the husky, they are very stubborn and prefer to do things their own way and are very difficult to convince otherwise if they don't find what you want fun and exciting.
