Any tips on making sure males won't try to mount strangers or partners at inopportune times?

Just wondered, once a male starts to enjoy it, should the training include how to make sure they don't try to mount at the wrong times or the wrong people? Is it best to have one familiar location, time of day, or some other association that makes them know it's OK? A particular treat? Certain attire, smells, etc? Any tips will be appreciated.
