This is a message that I see from everyone trying to give as an excuse to why them feel it's ok. If you truly want to experience it for yourself, then adopt your own. Not that I would recommend it for you considering if sex is the only thing on your mind with animals.
I mean... by getting your own animal? Not saying I disagree with your sentiment but that's a pretty obvious answer, lol
this would be the obvious answer but not everyone can afford a dog, not everyone's apartment, allows dogs, or any number of reasons they cant own a dog.

There are a number of legitimate reasons one couldn't own a dog, but there are also a million bullshit excuses, and living in an apartment is the most common one I hear. In the USA at least, it's ridiculously easy to get an ESA letter and keep a dog in any apartment. When I hear "waaa I can't have a dog, my apartment doesn't allow pets" I know for certain that they didn't even bother to look it up.

Now I'm going to express an unpopular opinion, from a neutral point of view.
I agree that beggars are assholes. But why only men?
I find it strange that almost everyone agrees that men who look online for owners of dogs for sex are assholes (I agree on it), but at the same time women who look online for dogs for sex are viewed with approval and admiration. Isn't that a double standard?
What do you think?
Thirsty men will give women a pass for just about anything. I don't see it any differently myself.

point still stands

If you can't afford a dog, you have other priorities that should be in focus rather then seeking this specific type of sexual satisfaction.

Well, I stand with my position that it's good to have non-eng sections to be able to talk to people in your mother language. But I really don't like the ads thing. The desperation to find owners and the "first time" are problematics. I agree with reformulations, but it seems impossible.

The mod part it's easier: help the mods reporting things against the rules you see. I do that in my mother language section. You don't need to be a mod to help modding.

If the personal ads section was nuked it would just spill over into the rest of the forum, and if there was a rule against seeking owners I imagine that would be a pain in the arse to moderate. At least with how things are currently it's relatively self-contained.

So here I go writing this as if someone like me carries any weight in the conversation

1. Removing the personals section will cause a moderation nightmare. it will move to other parts of the forum and not all in the same place, or start happening under existing threads making it even more difficult.
Just kill the egregious threads in the current personals (I.e. anything that looks like actual trafficking) and swing the ban hammer when necessary (judging by the amount of red tags I seen the mods are very proficient)

2. Making the forum English only and using moderation as a reason is BS, browsers have built in translators for a reason, it’s not like people are speaking in a secret code just to exclude you.

3. GATEKEEPING- this feels like more of an argument of “I Dont want these curious people around my lifestyle” (que up angry keyboard warriors that don’t read the rest). That’s a great way to kill the community, make sure it never grows and make the outcasts vindictive.
Also to a previous comment it’s black and white, you are or you aren’t, Some people have the opportunity and means to live the lifestyle all the time, others don’t and only get to experience it in small amounts, the same with nearly every other “fetish”

I’m not saying to absolutely welcome everyone with open arms. With any fetish/lifestyle there are some mentally unstable people that should not be part of the respective community.

Now as for me cause I’m sure some of you will click on my profile and see how new it is and how little interaction I have had. I’m 42, I’ve had some experiences in my younger years, I’ve always wanted more but never had any one to talk about it or experience it with due to its nature.

Engage with me like I’m a human having a civil conversation, I’m not your political opponent, just someone who wants the best for everyone

Your opinion is too long. *pfft

Last time you guys nuked personals you deleted the active threads in the only Australian forum subsection on the site. You also left old trash posts behind. It feels like you guys get so worked up about the optics or possibility of an issue, you overreact and make it worse.

If your intent was to give us all a prime example of what a false dichotomy fallacy is, you did a great job. Leave absolutely no room for nuance. Wonderful.

Export the personal's section to ZV2 / ZCA. A rising number of new members request a personals section there.
