This thread is to serve as a basic comprehensive breakdown of the warning points system and what warning points/strikes mean. Baring zoo-sadism, pedophilia, being under the age of 18, doxing (as in posting PII of someone else), spamming advertising links, and a handful of other rule infractions, if you break the rules WHICH YOU CAN READ HERE. You'll more than likely be given a warning point infraction.

Points and their meaning:
Simply put,

1 Point = Minor infraction (This basically means, don't do that action again.)

2 Points = Stronger infraction (Basically this is generally handed out when you've done something pretty bad. Such as someone posting porn that's a little more questionable than "gray" content. Or if you've broken another minor rule after you've already been warned to stop.)

3 Points = Fairly major infraction (Basically this warning is served if you've broken a fairly major rule on the forum.)

4/5 Points = Generally means last and final warning.

6-20 Points = While these are technically valid points which we can issue, they are seldom used. (Anything higher than 6 points often leads to a permanent ban, although occasionally temporary in some circumstances.)

That said, warning strikes can be accumulative, but also do often expire (but not always.) As an example, a user could post a Telegram IM handle and receive a 1 point warning. They post their phone number and receive another 1 point. Then said user turns around and posts a thread asking if they could pay for animal sex (animal prostitution) and then receive a 3 point warning. In this example a user would have accumulated 3 different warning strikes equaling 5 points in total (if none of the prior warnings have expired.) At this point, if the user breaks the rules again, they'll more than often receive a ban, and often it's permanent at that point. What one moderator might consider a 1 point offence, another moderator might consider a 2 point offence. Within reason, we back up the decisions of other moderators.

But do note, that points are often given at moderator discretion. As an example, if someone posts an IM handle on the forum, but they haven't had any past warning strikes I typically issue them a 1 point warning strike which will last 6 months. However, another moderator might issue a 1 point never ending warning point for the same infraction. It really depends on which moderator handles a report/or sees the rule breaking post on their own. So, put simply, read the rules of this forum and don't break any of them. For most people, the rules are about a 10-15 minute read. The more rules you break, the greater the chance that you'll be banned.
