Wanted to gauge someone’s experience with meetups for the first time, the good the bad the ugly of it all
I’m a smart cookie and use my brain (most of the time) so I know what knot to say, and do on an online forum + meetups
This is just drastically different from dating + hookups
so any experiences might be helpful

It's actually NOT different in any way, EXCEPT you are ADDING a taboo element to the mix.
The biggest mistake made around here is people wrong-thinking this entire concept into something different than what it actually IS, which is, dating/hookups PLUS a very very taboo aspect.
That ISN'T what this site exists for, but people can and DO use it in that way, but it's only different in that you've ADDED an element not present normally.
Thinking of this situation as completely different than dating is essentially setting yourself up for some kind of massive fail, be that just disappointment or outright shitshow.
ALL the things you take into consideration in the date/hookup scenario apply here. You aren't getting a hook up directly WITH the dog, there is a human doing the setting up, and you absolutely NEED to keep that in mind at all times.
It's NOT different,
it's harder. In ALL aspects, because there are a lot more variables involved.
Something I have YET to see ever said on this site is that you NEED to evaluate this human, AS IF you were planning a hookup WITH only them. Don't let the taboo lust cloud your thinking, because you ARE setting up "some type" of hookup WITH this human, in order to hookup with whatever animal. The dog, horse, pig, cow is ONLY a danger to your well being in whatever physical way those animals would normally be a danger to you in a physically sexual way......the HUMAN is the one you really SHOULD have the concerns about.
The pig won't bust you in the head, tie you up and toss you in the trunk, but the human might. The dog might damage you sexually, physically, but he's not got any intention past fucking you and doesn't know or CARE it may hurt you, but, the human who owns the animal SHOULD know how to keep that from being the case, and if you aren't keeping THAT in mind, your best case scenario is most likely, disappointment, and possibly a whole entire shitshow will result.
Be careful out there.
