And that is how fascism wins - when half the voting population goes "my vote doesn't matter anyway..." and doesn't show up, giving the highly motivated extremists the space to get out and vote with less competition. An abstained vote isn't a neutral vote, it's a vote for the worst choice available.

I have voted as a Libertarian since 1984. I have never voted for anyone who won a Presidential election. I don't feel bad that "My guy" never won. I have never been Diminished by not winning someone else not winning an election. I feel everyone Own's their own life. Taxing income is B.S. You have "The Right" to do as you like so long as you do not bother others with it. ( legal drug and full auto weapons ). The Government and the Police have no more right to any Weapons than anyone. We all have the SAME right's no one's rights are better than another. Your life is yours to do with as you please or not do as you like. We are not the toy's of Our own Government.

Agreed on everything. I think the only thing you can really do with a vote is give the finger to the establishment and vote for somebody who's never going to win but who you believe in.

I didn't expect to be getting into political debates here so I won't say any more from here on.

I understand wanting to vote 3rd party - the two party system we have is a joke. However, it's the system we have, and voting for someone you know isn't going to win is effectively the same as not voting. You want to be able to vote 3rd party? Move for election reform. Push for ranked choice/instant runoff voting. Push for anti-gerrymandering law reform. Voting 3rd party and calling it good is the laziest way to do nothing and feel good about wasting yours and everyone else's time.

No it's not. They have fooled you. All of the party's are just as real. The big 2 get federal Money. THAT needs to stop.
