My wife has no idea I like this sort of thing. I want to try and covertly see if she would be interested at all by this and how to work up from there. Anyone could give me advice that would be amazing!

How should we possibly know your wife's personality and what the best means of presenting something to her in a way she'd be receptive to?

How would you like her going behind your back asking strangers how to present something you could potentially see as the most revolting thing imaginable to you?
 
How open to the wide world of sex is she? There is what they call the human sex map (internet search brings it up) that you/her could explore and pin interests on. It could open up a discussion without pin pointing this particular interest just to gain a sense of how open she is to sexual exploration.
