Super Sad

Hey yall,
just wanted to come here cause im kinda sad and upset about having to get rid of my girls. Its just time, i really love them but they need a better home than mine. They have killed, yet another, one of my chinchillas. They have had some pretty expensive training but still have poor behavior and poor manors. Part of me feels like its my fault. On top of it all, we have become terribly busy and its not fair to them always being kenneled. Ive had my oldest girl since she was 4 weeks old, shes almost 7, and i hate to let her go. Im just really upset and wish i had more options.... 😪
Thanks for reading

That's sad. Do you know the people you're giving them to? As long as they're well taken care of and happy the situation has an up side; you've made the decision because it's the best thing to do. Be happy with yourself

No, i haven't found anyone yet. My husband is upset with them and threatened to drop them on the side of the road, he doesn't have the heart and i wouldn't let him anyways, but it's killing me.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.
Hoping Everything turns out Good for You & you find them a Good home, but in the long run it's the best thing. xx

How horrible a situation. I'm happy that you are standing up for their right to a proper/good home. Good luck and be sure to make sure that their next owner(s) will be the best for them.

We still have them. No one will take them and i hate the idea of a shelter
At least it would open a possibility that someone picks them up from there.
Your profile says you are in WV, so Why don't you just call at Briggs Animal Adoption Center or Little Victories Animal rescue or animal Friends WV and ask.
Maybe that will give you some clarity.
Just make sure its a no-kill animal shelter.

Consider the possibility of where they are better place. They may still be happier in your kennel than elsewhere, because that's where they grew up.
