Looks like a Carolina Wren.....Little birds that eat spiders....and A talent for LOUD.

I believe it is actually a European Wren. We have two here that look very similar, distinguishable only by the length of their tails. They are part of the family of "LBJ"s (in this household) - Little Brown Jobs.

Golliwogs are now banned in the UK, apparently. They don't feature on Robertson's Jam jars any more. They used to be a children's toy, much like a teddy bear. We actually have a golliwog broach on display, he is very old, dating from around the 60s I believe.

The mincemeat itself, is best mixed with either whisky or brandy for the best results.

had a little one as a kid....Dunno what happened to him...Gran sent him along, with some of the Rupert stories as a Holiday gift.....And Robertson's Products were in my mothers kitchen often if they were available

Looks like a Boreal....but its a Northern Hawk Owl....a bigger critter with a longer tail.

Nope....The Men in the Grey Flannel Suits on Madison did such deliberately....A sort of subliminal that was legal, as opposed to the types that weren't....Subliminal Advertizing today is not as effective....mostly amounting to raising the volume a tad
over content in the commercial breaks
