I've seen one or two in my time. On the beach they have this malevolence, and that massive smile! They are remarkable looking creatures. I saw one kill an octopus.

As someone who rose from adversity, she was a beautiful soul who inspired many. In many ways, she was much too good to be working for Beyonce. She'd worked for, and deserved, better.

Because of this posting, I read up on Ms DePrince. She was truly inspirational. In her short life she danced for several ballets before going to the Boston Ballet. I think the Beyonce thing was just pin-money. Her death is especially poignant as she died one day before her adoptive mother died during, or following, surgery. It's truly awful. How her family must feel? So young, and through so much adversity, @Kristy .

A Eurasian Nuthatch....Much like ours in North America, but not quite right...so I looked her up....These are fun little birds to watch as they come climbing down a tree headfirst, picking bugs out of the bark....
