Why Animals?

Just a general question, but what about animals (dogs, cats, horses, etc) makes people want to have relationships with them? Is it just love, like you'd feel with another human, but on a different body? If yes, could you answer why it doesn't happen with humans, and if no, what exactly is it?

Up until pretty recently I've been assuming I was aromantic, as I had never really felt a romantic connection before, until this year. It may be a little silly but I want to understand love more than anything, and why I've found an attraction to animals as well as humans.

It is love. For zoophiles at least.
And it comparable to the love a regular person feels for their partner.
In case of a zoophile the partner just is not the same species as them.

It does not happen with humans because zoophilia for zoophiles is their sexual orientation.
So the question is like asking why heterosexual people do not fall in love with a partner of the same gender.
It does not happen because this is not their preferred partner, in our case not the preferred species.

Why animals? Oh, human females attract me most. But not by much.
Why love? Animals feel it - some more intensely than others. Humans are animals. Therefore, ... um... lost my train of thought, but do you get what I was trying to say?

It's the same love that two people feel for each other. But humans and animals.
And by definition, "love" on the part of animals is "different" than on the part of humans.

I became exclusive for two reasons. One is that even when I was young I was sympathetic to it (the reasons for this are probably childhood psychology) and the other is the experience I gained as an adult, which confirmed that the way of life I have evolved into is completely fine.
Although you can't change this anyway, luckily I don't want to, because I've accepted it and I'm on the right path.

Thank

Thank you, I think this is the best explanation given so far. I'm glad you've accepted that part of yourself. :3

I've had experiences with horses and people, but I feel more romancing emotions to horses. I'm talking about the butterflies and the blushing and all that automatic bodily responses.

I've spent time trying to really test what makes my engine roar, and I personally feel like a very different person when meeting a horse. I get embarrassed, and flustered in ways I have yet to replicate with people. And there's this natural excitement I get whenever I ride or get close to one. The uniqueness and intensities of these emotions draw me to build a relationship with a stallion, that's why I choose and pursue stallions.

Hate to sound rude, but why do you want to know?
I'm the kind of person who has to know everything about something I'm interested in. I've been having more romantic emotions toward animals recently and want to be completely sure my own connections were the same that others felt towards both humans and animals. Not everyone has the same feelings I'm aware, but I do want to understand myself more with the context of others experiences to reference my own.

On that note, I'm glad people have responded to my post, it makes me feel better about my own situation and now I can more clearly define what I'm feeling.

For me love 💗 my first relationships with beautiful mare , the love they give is so much more honest than humans.

I don't know why or how it happened, but all my life I was into animals. Humans never interested me, even throw that I never had animals at home. My first time being with a dog was when I was 18 and got my own sweet dog.

This though. This sums up being completely zoo exclusive. You wouldn't ask a straight man/woman to be gay or vice versa. That would be taking away their predisposed natural attraction and forcing them to be something they are not. Society shouldn't expect a zoo to change the species they are attracted to just because of the eww factor and religious beliefs that shaped laws that were designed to oppress us. We are not the same as everyone else. Never will be. I'm 100% sure that this is an attraction that will always continue to persist despite people's disliking of it. Our love will always overcome obstacles. Considering how long people have been intimate with animals. Zoophilia has a history that goes back farther than most people would imagine it does

For real zoos, it is love on a different level,
that most people just refuse to even believe possible, and sadly, will never learn the truth about any of it.

An idiot. Read their posting history.
All other personal ad posts have been deleted.

I wonder those kind of people, how did they find that type of forum if they aren't zoo? 😏
Mostly why being here if you're just someone hating all around- not have better things to do in your miserable life?

They are also "zoophiles", they just don't get what they were looking for on the site, so they sacrifice the account by trolling. Obviously, this also requires a large amount of accumulated frustration.

My dog isn't going to abandon me, or yell at me, or hit me, or put me in the hospital again, or make fun of me, or belittle me, or hurt me in any way. My dog loves me unconditionally, and I love him. He's always happy to see me and be with me. I choose dogs because, I don't want to get hurt anymore.

Wow.
Nobody could have said it any better than that.

They also won't ask for anything but your love,
and would fight to the death to.protect you.
Even though you would never expect them to.

What you wrote is truly beautiful,
and only the jealous ones who have no idea about the truth of it will have anything bad to say.

Bless you both.

For me, it was always the absence of the complicated drama that humans can inject into what should just be an instinctual urge - which I guess is a fancy way of saying animals convey their wants/desires and emotions in an uncomplicated way (at least to me). I have a world of empathy to give to those who deserve it, and have yet to have an animal give me a reason not to extend it to them. You show them love, they'll give it in return.
