A dessert, very popular in Australia, was named in her honour. The exact origins of the dessert are shrouded in mystery.
Was it not Escoffier who made the dessert in her honour? xxx
Though I refuse to believe it was invented by a Frenchman.

It is an Australian dish, one I love because it is so messy. I just checked and the oldest recipe written down seems to be by a lady called Emily Futter, in the early 1900s. So, not Escoffier. Honey, don't dis the French!
